Toronto based Sparks Productions was founded in 1991 by Executive Producer Andy Crosbie. Sparks is one of the industry’s early practitioners of giving clients a wide variety of directorial talent to consider while working alongside trusted local producers and crew.

With transparency being one of the company’s corner stones, Sparks has developed through the decades a network of relationships with directors and other production companies around the world. It has also led to Sparks becoming known as a consistent and reliable provider of production services to foreign producers wanting to execute productions in Canada.

Bio

Angela Kohler is a director and a photographer. She is inspired by the interior lives of her subjects and brings whimsical magic to each of her projects. With a background in still photography, Angela loves telling a story in the briefest of moments and stringing them together to create rich adventures.

Angela’s award-winning work has been shown in festivals all over the world including the Saatchi & Saatchi New Directors Showcase at Cannes Lions, Gen Art Film Festival in New York and Los Angeles, FLUX at the Hammer Museum in Los Angeles, the Go Short Film Festival in Nijmegen, Netherlands, Kodak Pocket Fest Short Film Festival, Liber Arti Film Festival and the Crested Butte Film Festival. Her work has also been featured industry publications such as Shoot Magazine’s New Directors Showcase and 10 Young Directors to Watch, Videography Magazine, and PhotoCine News. Angela’s branded content clients include Amazon, Capital Records, David & Goliath, Lexus, Microsoft, Ogilvy & Mather, Pepsi Co., Target, and Verizon. She makes her home in Los Angeles with her husband and long-time collaborator, Ithyle Griffiths and their son, Ever.
