Toronto based Sparks Productions was founded in 1991 by Executive Producer Andy Crosbie. Sparks is one of the industry’s early practitioners of giving clients a wide variety of directorial talent to consider while working alongside trusted local producers and crew.

With transparency being one of the company’s corner stones, Sparks has developed through the decades a network of relationships with directors and other production companies around the world. It has also led to Sparks becoming known as a consistent and reliable provider of production services to foreign producers wanting to execute productions in Canada.

David Vergés

Bio

David Verges is a film director who resides in Barcelona and actively works worldwide.

His filmmaking journey began at the prestigious ESCAC film school, where he graduated
with a degree in Film Directing. Since then, he’s been on a storytelling journey,
constantly learning and discovering new ways to tell a great story. Coca-Cola, Audi, Netflix, Lamborghini, Sony, Jeep, Powerade, and Volkswagen are just a few of the many iconic brands he’s been fortunate enough to collaborate with.

David’s other great passion is cinema. He’s directed several short films, with Etiqueta Negra holding a special place in his heart. It has won several awards and been selected for international film festivals, including the Tribeca Film Festival in New York and the Zurich International Film Festival. When David is not shooting, whether in Spain or somewhere else in the world, he enjoys watching indie films at the Verdi cinema and going for long walks with his newly adopted puppy, Mambo.
